Softball Recap: Pecatonica Takes a Loss

Pecatonica managed to slip by River Ridge the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Vikings lost 12-6 to the Timberwolves on Tuesday. The loss leaves the Vikings still looking for their first win of the season.

Pecatonica's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for River Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Pecatonica and River Ridge will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Vikings will face off against rival Barneveld at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, River Ridge is set to square off against their familiar foe Potosi/Cassville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
