With a playoff win on the line, Evansville Memorial rose to the challenge on Friday. They skirted past the Heritage Hills Patriots 52-49. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Heritage Hills' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mayci Litherland, who posted 16 points and three steals. Litherland is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Hadley Leibering, who had nine points and three steals.

Evansville Memorial's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Heritage Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.

Evansville Memorial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 56-49 defeat against Evansville Central on the 8th. Heritage Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
