Volleyball Recap: Plainfield Central Takes a Loss

Plainfield Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.

Plainfield Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Oak Park-River Forest, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Plainfield Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Downers Grove South on the 25th. As for Oak Park-River Forest, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Benet Academy on the 26th.
