Baseball Recap: Windsor's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Windsor had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Dakota Ridge Eagles 11-1. That's more bragging rights for the Wizards, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ethan Fillinger made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Fillinger was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Windsor let Mason Jordan and Tripp Thomas run wild. Jordan scored a run while going 1-for-1, while Thomas scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. What's more, Jordan posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Calderon, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Windsor always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Windsor's record now sits at 5-1. As for Dakota Ridge, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windsor will welcome D'Evelyn at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dakota Ridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Columbine at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
