Baseball Recap: Sterling Comes Up Short

Sterling fell victim to Milby and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Buffs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Raiders have struggled against the Buffs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Sterling's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9-1. As for Milby, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Milby beat Sterling by a score of 12-2 on Friday.
