Volleyball Recap: Louisville Starts Season with Win Against Boardman

Louisville had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Boardman Spartans by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. This was payback for the Leopards, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Louisville was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 21-25, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Boardman still got an impressive performance from Sadie Satterfield, who had 17 digs and two aces.

Boardman's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Louisville will venture away from home to square off against Canfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Boardman, they will host Struthers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
