Baseball Recap: Canton Comes Up Short

Canton fell victim to Hartland and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 18-0. The Chiefs haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Canton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Hartland, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

Canton has already played their next contest, a 5-4 loss against Churchill on the 8th. As for Hartland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 11-3 defeat against Okemos on the 7th.
