Sawyer Tipton turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than seven strikeouts on Thursday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over 5.1 innings pitched. He also tossed two walks, which is notable because Mountain Vista is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 3-4 otherwise.

Coming up, Tipton and Mountain Vista will welcome Pueblo West at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cyclones will enter the matchup having just beaten Vista Ridge, so the Golden Eagles will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
