Recap: Amsterdam Rams vs. Schuylerville Horses
After flying high against the Scotia-Glenville Tartans last Tuesday, the Amsterdam Rams came back down to earth. Amsterdam fell just short of Schuylerville by a score of 72-69. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Tuesday (61), Amsterdam still had to take the loss.
Amsterdam lost on Thursday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Caleb Miller, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds. Rocco Natale was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with three steals.
Even though they lost, Amsterdam were working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Amsterdam has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Schuylerville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
Amsterdam will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Broadalbin-Perth at 7:00 p.m. As for Schuylerville, they will face off against Gloversville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gloversville will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
