Softball Recap: Covenant Christian Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Covenant Christian extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping their season record up to 3-2 in the process. Everything went their way against the Kenowa Hills Knights as they made off with a 17-10 victory. Considering the Chargers have won three matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Kenowa Hills, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. Even though they lost, their still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.4 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

For Kenowa Hills' part, Katherine Tudor was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with six RBI, two stolen bases, and two runs. Tudor also hit a triple, marking her first of the season. Corrine Hardy was another key player, earning two runs and two stolen bases.

Covenant Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against Kenowa Hills: the pair will be back at it again later today.
