Baseball Recap: Drew Takes a Loss

If Drew was riding high fresh off their 15-1 takedown of Gateway on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dragons fell just short of the San Francisco Waldorf Wolverines by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Drew saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Fluss, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

With the defeat, Drew broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-7. As for San Francisco Waldorf, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-4.
