Hickory is a perfect 6-0 against West Iredell since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Red Tornadoes will host the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. West Iredell took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Hickory, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Hickory made easy work of Foard and carried off an 11-1 win. The game marked the Red Tornadoes' most dominant victory of the season.

Meanwhile, West Iredell unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Lincoln.

Trae Clyburn was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Love, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

The win got Hickory back to even at 7-7. As for West Iredell, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Hickory was able to grind out a solid victory over West Iredell in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 8-4. Will the Red Tornadoes repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
