Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spotswood). They were the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over the Bard Raptors on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Chargers needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Spotswood has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Bard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.

Spotswood didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-4 loss against East Brunswick on the 3rd. As for Bard, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 16-6 defeat against St. Dominic Academy on the 3rd.
