Preview: All Saints' Academy Saints vs. Foundation Christian Academy Panthers
All Saints' Academy has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Foundation Christian Academy Panthers at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, All Saints' Academy strolled past Geneva Classical Academy with points to spare, taking the game 59-43.
Ali Ebrahim continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dontravious Bell, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Foundation Christian Academy's three-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They came out on top against Florida College Academy by a score of 52-42.
Foundation Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Micah Sanders, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Sanders has scored at least a third of Foundation Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Hagan, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.
All Saints' Academy's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. As for Foundation Christian Academy, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: All Saints' Academy hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 60 points per game. It's a different story for Foundation Christian Academy, though, as they've been averaging only 55.7 points per game. The only thing between All Saints' Academy and another offensive beatdown is Foundation Christian Academy. Will they be able to keep them contained?
All Saints' Academy might still be hurting after the 57-36 defeat they got from Foundation Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2022.
