Trimble County never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Eminence Warriors with a sharp  16-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won nine matches by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
 Alyssa Ritchie made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 15 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with three  runs and one  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Jaelyn Holbrook and  Hannah Chilton did most of the damage at the plate:  Holbrook  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI and two  runs, while  Chilton  went 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Alanna Washington, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Trimble County  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters  in seven consecutive  games.
Trimble County is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Eminence,  they are  on  a  45-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-22.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trimble County will venture away from home to  take on North Oldham  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Eminence, they will head out to  face off against Thomas Nelson  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Generals will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
