Softball Recap: Pen Argyl Green Knights vs. Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders

Pen Argyl proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 15) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-0 back in April.

Jillian Bradley made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 18 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one double and one RBI.
