Basketball Recap: Millry Comes Up Short

Millry was the 48-30 winner over Washington County when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Millry Wildcats fell to the Washington County Bulldogs 40-35. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Millry's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Washington County, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Millry will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McIntosh at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Washington County will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against St. Luke's Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
