Basketball Recap: Coffee County Central Comes Up Short

Coffee County Central played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Beech Buccaneers, falling 93-63. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Coffee County Central lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Audie Nicoll, who posted 20 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Marc Rollman, who shot 56% from the field to rack up 17 points and six boards.

Coffee County Central now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Beech, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coffee County Central has already played their next contest, a 63-46 loss against Tullahoma on the 24th. As for Beech, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 66-39 win against Stratford on the 25th.
