Basketball Recap: Tandem Friends Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tandem Friends lost against Miller School of Albemarle back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Badgers were outmatched by the Mavericks and fell 88-53. The Badgers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Badgers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zaquis Timberlake, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Sean Tyler, who had 13 points.

Miller School of Albemarle's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaiden Hunter, who shot 67% from the field en route to 17 points and four steals. That's the most points Hunter has posted since back in December of 2024. Amare Long was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 13 points and nine boards.

Tandem Friends now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Miller School of Albemarle, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Tandem Friends will take on St. Michael the Archangel at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Miller School of Albemarle, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Prince George's Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
