Basketball Recap: Washington Drops Highest Score of Season Against Clover Park

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 59-34 to the Clover Park Timberwolves. One positive for the Patriots, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Clover Park's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aliana Riviere, who posted nine points and seven steals. Riviere is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Fa?Aluaina Salanoa was another key player, putting up 11 points in addition to seven assists and five rebounds.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Clover Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Washington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 44-33 defeat against Steilacoom on the 31st. Clover Park has also already played their next contest, a 46-38 loss against Orting on the 31st.
