4-star cornerback Trayvon Mullen signs with Clemson on National Signing Day

The Coconut Creek (Fla.) standout also was an offensive threat, but figures to play defense for the ACC champs.

Trayvon Mullen, a 4-star cornerback from Coconut Creek (Fla.), has picked Clemson as his college of choice on National Signing Day.

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound senior has blinding speed. He's run a 4.37-second 40-yard dash. He's considered the sixth-best cornerback in the country and No. 60 recruit overall, according to 247Sports.

Also an offensive threat, Mullen had 45 catches for 800 yards his senior year for Coconut Creek.

Mullen took recruiting trips to Florida State (Dec. 4), Louisville (Dec. 12), LSU (Jan. 22), Clemson (Jan. 15) and TCU (Nov. 27).
