Basketball Recap: Blue Ridge Comes Up Short

Blue Ridge lost against Okaw Valley back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Ridge Knights took a blow against the Okaw Valley Timberwolves, falling 73-39. The Knights just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Blue Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Okaw Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blue Ridge will head out to face off against Arcola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Arcola will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Blue Ridge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Okaw Valley, they will venture away from home to square off against Sullivan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Sullivan has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with three straight defeats, while Okaw Valley will come in with four straight victories.
