Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McDaniel). They were the clear victor by a 60-39 margin over the Roosevelt Roughriders on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Mountain Lions have posted since December 22, 2024.

McDaniel's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-11 and their overall record up to 5-14. As for Roosevelt, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-15.

McDaniel has already played their next matchup, a 40-23 victory against Mannahouse Christian Academy on the 12th. As for Roosevelt, they will head out to face off against Ida B. Wells at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
