Football Preview: Pomperaug Panthers vs. Bethel Wildcats
The Pomperaug Panthers will square off against the Bethel Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Pomperaug, yet to win a game, are hoping to taste some of the success that has characterized Bethel's (thus far) undefeated season.

Josh Macomber had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Sam D'Amico, who picked up 66 receiving yards and a touchdown.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Bethel's defense and their four sacks. Leading the way was Matthew Tarzia with three.
Pomperaug's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bethel, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-0.
