Volleyball Recap: Sturgeon Bay Comes Up Short

Sturgeon Bay was the 3-0 winner over Wrightstown when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Clippers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Sturgeon Bay's offense was headlined by Bristol Will and Audrey Harrington, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Regan Kasten and her 24 assists. Will was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Sturgeon Bay has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's still a better percentage than their 6-21 record this season. As for Wrightstown, the win got them back to even at 16-16.

Sturgeon Bay didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Houghton on the 4th. As for Wrightstown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Two Rivers on the 4th.
