Baseball Recap: Pensacola Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Pensacola faced off against Paxton on Wednesday. The Pensacola Tigers fell 5-1 to the Paxton Bobcats. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pensacola's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Paxton, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pensacola will head out to take on L.E.A.D. Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. L.E.A.D. Academy knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Pensacola likes a good challenge. Paxton will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Laurel Hill at 6:30 p.m. on March 31st.
