Football Preview: Eldon Mustangs vs. Hallsville Indians
Eldon has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will welcome the Hallsville Indians at 7:00 p.m. Eldon's defense has only allowed 17 points per game this season, so Hallsville's offense will have their work cut out for them.
Eldon's usually-dominant defense will be looking to make up for Friday's struggle, when Osage offense got past them. The match between Eldon and Osage wasn't particularly close, with Eldon falling 41-22. The loss was the Mustangs' first of the season.
Meanwhile, Hallsville was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Isaac Stinson, who picked up 218 receiving yards and a touchdown. Another passer making a difference was Brayden Matheney, who threw for 386 yards and two touchdowns.
