Volleyball Recap: Proviso West Gets the Win

After losing to Walther Christian Academy the last time they met, Proviso West decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Panthers came out on top against the Broncos by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday.

Proviso West not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Walther Christian Academy between 17 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17.

Proviso West's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Walther Christian Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-10.

Proviso West has already played their next game (against Saint Viator), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Walther Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Holy Trinity on the 8th.
