Soccer Game Preview: Immanuel vs. Laton

Everything went Immanuel's way against Wonderful College Prep Academy as Immanuel made off with an 8-2 victory. It was an even better day for Carter Zulik as he scored four goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Laton fell victim to Avenal and their airtight defense on Monday. They came up short against the Buccaneers, falling 8-0. The Mustangs have struggled against the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Immanuel's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three matches. As for Laton, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Everything went Immanuel's way against Laton when the teams last played back in January, as Immanuel made off with a 5-1 victory. In that game, Immanuel amassed a halftime lead of 3-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
