Northwest Yeshiva has gone 9-1 against Quilcene recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Northwest Yeshiva Lions are taking a road trip to take on the Quilcene Rangers at 7:00 p.m. Northwest Yeshiva is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.8 points per game this season.

While Northwest Yeshiva didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 60-53 win over Concordia Christian Academy on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Evan Kaufthal was his usual excellent self, going 12 for 25 on his way to 28 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Benoliel, who went 7 for 16 on his way to 16 points.

Meanwhile, Quilcene hadn't done well against Puget Sound Adventist recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Quilcene managed a 45-39 victory over Puget Sound Adventist.

Quilcene's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Northwest Yeshiva, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Everything went Northwest Yeshiva's way against Quilcene when the teams last played back in January, as Northwest Yeshiva made off with an 83-61 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Northwest Yeshiva since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
