Carthage has gone 5-0 against Spring Hill recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Carthage Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the Spring Hill Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Carthage will bounce into Friday's game after beating Gilmer, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Carthage strolled past Gilmer with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 55-36.

Meanwhile, Spring Hill entered their tilt with Kilgore on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They enjoyed a cozy 40-21 win over the Bulldogs.

Carthage now has a winning record of 16-15. As for Spring Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

Carthage was able to grind out a solid victory over Spring Hill in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 33-25. The rematch might be a little tougher for Carthage since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
