Alexander had already won 17 in a row and they went ahead and made it 18 on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Eagle Pass Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Alexander was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-14, 25-10.

Sofia Gonzalez paced Alexander's offense, picking up ten kills. Gonzalez got some help from Amari Randez and her 17 assists. Galilea Ortiz controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Alexander's victory bumped their record up to 27-4. As for Eagle Pass, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-25.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Alexander will face off against rival Laredo LBJ at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Eagle Pass is set to square off against their familiar foe United at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
