Softball Recap: Nevada Union Comes Up Short

If Nevada Union was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of University Prep on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Miners fell 8-3 to the River Valley Falcons on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Miners in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost four in a row.

Nevada Union's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for River Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Nevada Union will take on Del Campo at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for River Valley, they will venture away from home to take on East Nicolaus at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
