Football Recap: Osceola Comes Up Short

Osceola lost against Blytheville back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Seminoles were just a hair shy of victory and fell 20-19 to the Chickasaws.

Despite the loss, Osceola still got an impressive performance from Tyler Bell, who rushed for 71 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 143 yards and one TD. Bell also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing one fumble and making five total tackles (2.0 for loss). Khamajh Poole was in the mix as well, providing Osceola with one score.

Courtney Rogers went supernova For Blytheville., rushing for 235 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 13.8 yards per carry, and also throwing for 38 yards and one touchdown.

Osceola's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Osceola has already played their next game, a 63-24 loss against Gosnell on the 12th. As for Blytheville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 22-20 victory against Nettleton on the 12th.
