Basketball Recap: Lindsay Comes Up Short

Lindsay lost against Sanger back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lindsay Knights were dealt an 87-35 defeat at the hands of the Sanger Indians. The game marked the Knights' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

The loss snapped Lindsay's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-7 record. As for Sanger, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lindsay will square off against Muenster at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sanger, they will take on Lake Dallas at 1:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Sanger knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Lake Dallas likes a good challenge.
