Softball Recap: Boston Latin Academy Comes Up Short

Boston Latin Academy lost against Wellesley back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Dragons lost 13-1 to the Raiders. That's two games in a row now that the Dragons have lost by exactly 12 runs.

Boston Latin Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Wellesley, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Boston Latin Academy will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against O'Bryant at 3:00 p.m. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed nine runs per game on average), something the Dragons will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Wellesley, they will head out on the road to face off against Acton-Boxborough at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
