Volleyball Recap: Neosho Takes a Loss

Neosho was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Kickapoo Chiefs, falling 3-0. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Chiefs when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-9.

Among those leading the charge was Brittan Smith, who had five digs and three aces. Chloe Sargent also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Neosho's loss dropped their record down to 4-11-2. As for Kickapoo, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

Looking ahead, Neosho will challenge Ozark at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kickapoo, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Bentonville West on the 20th.
