Softball Recap: Moulton Comes Up Short

Moulton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Flatonia Bulldogs, falling 13-1. The matchup marked the Bobkatz's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Moulton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Flatonia, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Moulton will be taking part in a tournament against Goliad at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Moulton has given up an average of 11.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Flatonia, they will square off against Smithville at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Flatonia: they have been struggling with 11 straight losses at home dating back to last season, while Smithville has snatched up five consecutive wins on the road.
