Soccer Recap: Lisle Takes a Loss

Lisle's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Manteno Panthers by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lisle of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Sebastian Kowal, who's now up to eight this season.

Lisle's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Manteno, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5-2 record this season.

Lisle didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Streator/Woodland on the 2nd. As for Manteno, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Peotone on the 2nd.
