Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Myla Bellavoine and Mallory Stoy Lead Novi to Victory

There's no place like home for Novi, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Salem Rocks on Tuesday. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rocks, too.

Novi not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Salem between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15, 25-18.

Novi was led to victory by Mallory Stoy and Myla Bellavoine. Stoy had 19 digs and three assists, while Bellavoine had nine digs and one assist. With that strong performance, Stoy is now averaging an impressive 10.2 digs per game.

Novi's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Salem, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5.

Looking ahead, Novi will take on Hartland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Salem has already played their next contest (against Skyline), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
