Baseball Recap: Westwood Takes a Loss

Westwood lost against Central back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers came up short against the Cobras, falling 13-6. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Andrew Solomon made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-4. Holdyn Evans also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Westwood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Central, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-7-1.

Westwood has already played their next game, a 13-0 loss against Sebastian River on the 11th. As for Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-5 defeat against Sebring on the 7th.
