Claire Bolda was a major factor in Glenbard East's victory over West Aurora on Wednesday. Bolda was dynamite, striking out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
