Basketball Recap: Marist Extends Winning Streak to Four

Marist entered their tilt with Trinity on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 50-40 victory over the Trinity Blazers. The RedHawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blazers, too.

Marist is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. As for Trinity, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 17-8.

The future could be bright for both Marist and Trinity: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Marist will try to hand De La Salle their sixth-straight defeat when the two meet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Trinity will look to extend Oak Park-River Forest's four-game losing streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
