Baseball Game Preview: W.S. Neal Eagles vs. Jackson Aggies

For the second straight game, W.S. Neal will face off against Jackson. The Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Aggies at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. W.S. Neal will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.

W.S. Neal barely beat Jackson the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Aggies on Thursday. The Eagles not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 7th.

The team relied heavily on Eli Stone, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Tyler Kirk also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

W.S. Neal was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .481. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

W.S. Neal has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Jackson, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
