Volleyball Recap: Hood River Valley Takes a Loss

Hood River Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Century Jaguars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2019.

Hood River Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Century, they moved to 3-6 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Hood River Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Putnam on the 20th. As for Century, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Ida B. Wells on the 20th.
