Recap: Hardin Hornets vs. Cleveland Indians
After a string of three wins, the Hardin Hornets's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They were the victim of a rough 68-45 defeat at the hands of Cleveland. Hardin lost against Cleveland in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 70-34 score last time.
Hardin's loss came despite strong showings from Peyton Gowdey and Jahmall Thomas jr. Gowdey scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds, while Thomas jr scored 8 points.
Hardin now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Cleveland, their victory bumped their record up to 2-10.
Hardin is on the road again on Thursday and play against Livingston at 3:30 p.m. on December 7th. As for Cleveland, they will face off against Coldspring-Oakhurst at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Coldspring-Oakhurst presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cleveland in Texas (Coldspring-Oakhurst is ranked 307th, while Cleveland is ranked 1361st).
