Basketball Recap: Lake Country Classical Academy Has No Trouble Against Waterloo

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Howards Grove, Lake Country Classical Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They took down the Waterloo Pirates 52-35.

John Walker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jude Kolstad, who posted 12 points and three steals.

The victory got Lake Country Classical Academy back to even at 6-6. As for Waterloo, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Country Classical Academy has already played their next matchup (against University Lake/Trinity Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Waterloo will face off against Wisconsin Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
