Lockport won the last time they faced Oswego East and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Porters walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wolves. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Porters.

Lockport not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Oswego East between 14 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16.

Lockport's victory bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Oswego East, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Lockport and Oswego East should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Porters will face off against Homewood-Flossmoor at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (8 vs. 102). Meanwhile, Oswego East (ranked 175th) will meet Joliet Central (ranked 425th) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
