Flag Football Game Preview: Mitchell County Eagles vs. Worth County Rams

The Mitchell County Eagles will square off against the Worth County Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mitchell County has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight losses, while Worth County will come in with four straight victories.

On Thursday, Mitchell County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 18-13 to Westover.

The losing side was boosted by ADRIANNA Burke, who picked up 55 receiving yards and one score. She didn't just play on offense: she also made three total tackles and defended one pass.

Mitchell County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of NY'KERRIA Davis and LAKAYLA Isom.

Meanwhile, Worth County owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 26-0 margin over Westover. That 26 point margin sets a new team best for the Rams this season.

Worth County's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Mitchell County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
