Volleyball Recap: Clarksville Takes a Loss

Clarksville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southwestern Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-7.

Jocelyn Johnson was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten digs. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Clarksville's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Southwestern, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.

Coincidentally, Clarksville and Southwestern will both be playing Paoli the next time they take the court. The Rebels will host the Rams at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Generals will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
